About the Davey Awards:
The Davey Awards capitalize on honoring the finest creative work from smaller teams, embracing the notion that strength comes not from the size of a machine, but the power of the ideas, intelligence, and creative thinking cultivated from those individuals. These awards are the leading competition for small shops, firms, and companies both nationally and internationally, hosted by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), which is an organization comprising more than 700 members “dedicated to embracing progress and the evolving nature of traditional and interactive media;” these individuals come from esteemed firms like Code and Theory, Publicis, Microsoft, Disney, and countless others. The AIVA receives nearly 3,000 entries from small ad agencies, public relations firms, in-house creative professionals, production firms, graphic designers, design firms, and digital agencies.
