Grova Creative turned 10 earlier this year, and we love the chance to throw a party. Over the past few months, we’ve poured a lot of energy and effort into planning an event we hope will stand out in our guests’ minds as a time of warmth, laughter, and celebration for years to come.
It was our absolute pleasure to spend this time together, brainstorming, creating, and preparing for ‘An Evening on the Pink Carpet.’ As much fun as the preparation was, the event itself was a night we will never forget. Here are our top ten most memorable moments of the night on September 10!
We kicked off the night by welcoming everyone the Grova way, with style and color! Pink, to be exact. It was a joy to see so many friends come out to celebrate this milestone. We wanted to start the event by showing how special each guest is to us from the moment they walked in the door.
We rolled out the pink carpet as a welcome and had some of the best paparazzi in town to record the night! We owe a heartfelt thank you to Dave Barfield from Lonely Fox Photography for so generously giving his time and artistry to capture each entrance beautifully.

Our team wanted every detail to match the party’s theme and vibe, and the signature cocktails were a big hit. The bartenders from On The Rocks did a great job of bringing our elixirs to life. The two offerings were a tart, tangy ‘Grovatini’ and a sweet, vibrant ‘Pink Carpet’ cocktail. We believe that small details can make a big difference.
If you’d like to shake up one of these tasty libations on your own, here are our (not so) secret recipes!

We loved watching Gala guests take a seat behind the camera to share their candid Grova memories and well wishes for the future. There were so many wonderful stories and beautiful sentiments, and no shortage of laughter and hopes for G and the team. We’re tearing up just thinking about it.

All of the food was incredible, from the adorable charcuterie cones and delicious spinach dip bites to the fun, festive cake shooters. While we relished every bite, one thing stood out as a favorite for everyone. The most beautiful cake by Velvet Rose Cake Boutique took center stage on the dessert table and drew the admiration of all passersby. It was simply stunning in design and execution.

A wonderful perk of having our event at the Challenger Learning Center was getting to use the planetarium to showcase more of our creative work. Our incredibly talented designer, Courtney, worked with the Learning Center’s planetarium specialist to bring the Grova story to life.
With her eye for color and dulcet vocal tones, she captivated everyone’s attention and kept us coming back for more. It was a special treat to see G’s vision take root and evolve into the beautiful ecosystem it is today!

There were plenty of fresh florals and other decor items to notice throughout the party. The team truly left no stone unturned. Our newest designer, Lindsay, created signage to guide guests from one activity to another, perfectly aligned with senior designer Sophia’s style guide. We were so excited to share all of these special little details. Everything, down to the napkins and popcorn boxes, was custom-made for the event, and we were so excited to see everything come together the way it did.

It wouldn’t be a Grova party without an abundance of photo opps. The paparazzi and roving photographer weren’t the only ones capturing the magic. We laughed all night long as guests tumbled in and out of the ball pit photo booth for the most fun snapshots ever! We finished out the night by jumping in for one final group photo, and the results were, in a word, magnificent. Who knew ball pits could be so fun in adulthood? Oh, that’s right. G and Hannah did!

We love our snacks at Grova, and we wanted to share some of our favorites with everyone who came out to celebrate with us. Before we headed into the main event, there was chocolate, cookies, and, of course, custom lollipops designed in-house by our talented team. Popcorn is a must at the movie theater; our custom popcorn boxes dropped one last hint at a special project we were so excited to see the results of!

It’s always a bit intimidating to see your face on a screen, and when it’s an IMAX screen, it can be downright terrifying. The main event of the evening was a sweet, sentimental look at the people and places who make Grova what it is today. It was a lovely tribute.
We don’t do anything halfway around here, and we promised a night of fun and surprises. In addition to the serious stuff, we brought the entertainment factor up a notch with our big-screen acting debut, “Grova’s Angels.’ This lampoon was written and directed by our own social media maven, Emily, and followed the Grova team in a Charlie’s Angels-style adventure to find our missing boss. We all agreed this was one of our favorite parts of both the evening and the preparation!

We couldn’t end the night without a special parting gift for our fabulous guests. Our equally fabulous designer Courtney designed the coziest and most beautiful blanket for the occasion. The colorful, creative design featured Easter eggs representing some of our favorite projects and creative moments over the years.
Every project matters to us. We feel incredibly fortunate to have so many wonderful clients who trust us to create something special for their brand. It’s our honor to pour all of our hard work and creativity into each project. This beautiful blanket represents that sentiment, and we hope it keeps all of our valued guests cozy as we head into the cooler months!

More than anything, our favorite part of the evening was spending time with our loved ones and the people who make it possible for us to keep the lights on. Grova Creative loves our clients, and we look forward to serving them for years to come!
